Yesterday was 1st May Maharashtra Day and on this day the Modi government at the center has taken 1 strange decision. The Modi government yesterday decided to shift the IFSC i.e. International Financial Services Centre, which is now based in Mumbai, to Gujarat.

This decision means that the feeling of being unfair to Maharashtra is being expressed in the public mind of Maharashtra. Meanwhile, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has tweeted that this decision is correct.

On this occasion, Fadnavis said that this is not a decision to migrate but to start an IFSC organization in Gujarat to provide all facilities at one place.

Meanwhile, despite the fact that Mumbai is the financial capital of India, the move of the IFSC from Mumbai to the gift city of Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat was criticized by the opposition as “a ploy by the BJP to diminish the importance of Mumbai as a financial capital”, but Fadnavis justified the decision. It is said that there are signs that this matter will burn even more.

IFSC Transfer

Fadnavis tweeted in support of the Modi government’s decision to shift IFSC to Gujarat’s Gift City. And what did we try during our government to avoid this decision, the report of IFSC for providing all facilities at one place was submitted in 2007, but no decision has been taken on it yet. While saying this, he has posted a video on his Twitter handle about what the current government is not doing.
